If you would like to apply for the Deep End School the process is very simple. You will need to download the PDF file called “Deep End School Application Form 2011” from this web page and print the entire document. It contains the Student Application Form, a single Pastoral Reference Form (to be filled in by your pastor) and two Personal Reference Forms (to be filled in by personal referees who know you well). The Pastoral Reference Form and the two Personal Reference Forms are to be mailed directly to ‘Deep End School PO Box 1627 Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia, 2481.’ They are not to be handed back to you but mailed directly to us by the people who filled them in. They are strictly confidential.

You will also need to mail your Student Application Form to the above address together with a non-refundable AUD$25.00 application fee. (US$20.00) You will also need to attach a recent photo of yourself to your Student Application Form. All applications will be processed within four weeks of the date they are received and you will also be contacted for a telephone interview during this period by one of our staff. Successful applicants will be notified by mail within four weeks.

If you are an overseas student and you are successful in your application to attend the school DO NOT apply for a visa until you have read the important information enclosed in your formal letter of acceptance. The Deep End School is a non-accredited school and the process for applying for a visa is detailed in the letter of acceptance. Attempting to apply for a visa without first reading this important information could result in not obtaining the right visa which could seriously complicate your visa application process. We have received advice directly from the Australian Department of Immigration concerning which visa to apply for and we supply overseas students with this advice in their acceptance package. The cost of the entire School program is $3300 (including GST). Unfortunately we can no longer offer accomodation for the duration of the School however the Deep End School Coordinator, Kimberly is happy to provide you with information on securing accomodation in Byron Bay upon acceptance into the School.  She can be contacted on the above email link or at the Office on 02 6685 7702.
